👋 What’s Up Wentzville!
Good morning, Wentzville.

I’ve been thinking lately — we read about events, businesses, and what’s happening around town… but how often do we actually gather?
In today’s What’s Up Wentzville:
• Events happening this week
• A new Hidden Gem you’ll want to try
• Ways to volunteer locally
• And a quick question about bringing this community together
Let’s get into it. 👇

👀 Looking Ahead
A few things to mark on your calendar before spring fills up:
🌸 4th Annual NPHS Spring Spectacular Market – March 7
North Point High School, 9 AM – 3 PM
Over 200 vendors, small businesses, artisans, food trucks, and raffle prizes. It’s free to attend and a great way to support local makers.
🐣 Wentzville Easter Events – March 27 & 28
These fill up every year.
If you have little ones, I’d register sooner rather than later — especially if you want your preferred time slot.
Spring in Wentzville moves fast. A little planning now makes it way less chaotic later.
P.S. If you know someone new to Wentzville, forward this to them.

🏗️ New Growth in Wentzville
A new neighborhood development called Trailside Farms has officially been approved near Highway N.
It includes plans for hundreds of homes that could start as early as this spring and will likely take 5-8 years to complete.
Officials hope that necessary upgrades to Highway N will be finished before the subdivision is finished.
Whether you’re excited about growth or just watching how the city evolves, one thing is clear — Wentzville isn’t slowing down.
Growth brings change. It also brings opportunity.
All we can do is focus on being good neighbors.
👀 Coming Soon: P6 Wellness

I’ll share the official opening date as soon as it’s locked in but in the meantime follow them on Facebook for direct update from them.

Last week I did a survey and the vast majority of you voted you would love to learn about hidden gems around Wentzville so…
Every now and then we’re going to spotlight a local spot that feels a little under-the-radar but totally worth knowing about — because this area has more charm than we sometimes realize.
This week’s hidden gem is… Not Jaded Boutique & Tea Room 🫖

I’ll be honest — when I first heard “tea room,” I pictured tiny sandwiches and leaving hungry.
Not Jaded completely proves me wrong.
Tucked right on E. Allen Street, this is one of those places you might drive past without realizing how special it is inside. But once you walk in, you get it.
Yes, it’s a boutique — thoughtfully curated clothes and gifts that feel intentional without being over the top. But step into the tea room side and it becomes something more than just shopping. It’s an experience.
They serve lunch Tuesday–Saturday (10am–3pm), and it’s actually substantial. Soups like roasted potato cheddar bacon, fresh salads, quiche, solid sandwiches — and desserts that will absolutely tempt you even if you came in “just for tea.”
The tea selection is surprisingly deep too — Earl Grey Lavender, hibiscus, jasmine, fruit blends… I feel fancier just typing that.
What really stands out though is the atmosphere. It feels warm. Unhurried. The kind of place you go to actually connect — whether that’s meeting a friend, hosting a shower, planning a birthday lunch, or taking your daughter on a tea date she’ll talk about for weeks. (And yes, dads — this is a strong redemption move if you embarrassed her at the Sweetheart Dance.)
They even host princess tea parties and teepee slumber party setups — which is the kind of detail that makes kids feel like they just stepped into something magical.

Places like this are what make Wentzville feel like a smalll community instead of just a fast-growing city.
If you haven’t been yet, consider this your nudge.

🤝 Want to Get Involved? Volunteer Opportunities in Wentzville
One thing that keeps coming up in replies is this: “How can we actually do good together?” So here are a few ways to jump in locally:
St. Patrick St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry – Volunteer shifts throughout the week helping distribute food to local families.
Hope Food Pantry at the LINC – Wednesday and Friday shifts serving neighbors right here in town.
Helping Hands Outdoor Pantry (Blumhoff Ave) – A simple, 24/7 drop-off pantry where you can donate food or hygiene items anytime.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Wentzville Chapter – Help build and deliver beds so no kid sleeps on the floor in our town.
TREE House of Greater St. Louis (Wentzville) – Volunteer with equine-assisted therapy programs serving individuals with disabilities.
City of Wentzville Parks & Recreation (Crossroads Volunteer Network) – Help with park cleanups, events, and community beautification.
Wentzville R-IV School District – Classroom support, tutoring, event help, and field trip chaperones.
JustServe.Org - Use Just Serve to find other nearby opportunities to volunteer.
If there’s a cause in Wentzville that needs more visibility, reply and let me know. I’d love to highlight it.

Quick question…
If Wentzville gathered more often in person, what would you actually show up for?
If you don’t see your idea listed above, just reply and tell me what it is.

A Message From Your Favorite Local Business

Okay… technically this space is open this week.
Normally, this is where you’d see a local business sharing their story, a special offer, or something they’re excited about.
So here’s a thought:
Who’s your favorite local business?
The coffee shop you always stop at.
The boutique that remembers your name.
The contractor who did great work.
The salon you won’t cheat on.
The small business owner grinding it out every day.
Forward this email to them.
Tell them this space exists. Tell them the community is here. Tell them people are paying attention.
What’s Up Wentzville goes out to local families every week who care about where they spend their money.
If you’re a business owner reading this — or someone forwards this to you — just reply to this email and I’ll send over details.
Let’s keep local dollars local.

That’s it for this week.
If there’s something worth celebrating in Wentzville — an event, a school highlight, a local win — reply and let me know. This newsletter only works if we build it together.
Thanks for reading!
See you next Thursday,
Skyler
