👋 What’s Up Wentzville!
Good morning!
This week is kind of a big one.
Easter weekend is here… which means a mix of egg hunts, brunch plans, and a whole lot going on.

So whether you’re looking for something fun with the kids, a night out, or something a little more meaningful, there’s a lot to choose from this week.
Let’s get into it. 👇

A Message From Backyard Flicks 🎬

This might be the easiest way to host something memorable this spring…
Backyard Flicks turns your backyard into a full outdoor movie setup—screen, projector, sound, all of it.
No complicated setup. No stress.
Just invite some people over, press play, and enjoy the night.
Honestly… it’s a pretty fun way to be the “favorite house” on the block 😄

📰 Local News & Updates
One of the best Saturday morning staples around here just kicked off again.
The Lake St. Louis Farmers & Artists Market is officially open for the 2026 season and runs every Saturday from 8:00 AM to noon through October.
If you haven’t been before, it’s exactly what you’d hope for:
fresh produce
local vendors
handmade goods
and a really easy, relaxed way to start your weekend
It’s located at The Meadows, so it’s also a great excuse to grab coffee, walk around a bit, and just be outside for a while.
Rain or shine, it’s on.
📍 Meadows Circle Drive, Lake St. Louis
⏰ Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (April 4 – October 31)
If you’re looking for a simple way to support local this weekend… this is a good one 👍

🌟 A Hidden Gem
You know those places you drive past and never think twice about?
This is one of those… until you walk inside.
If you’ve ever been out to Augusta for wineries, there’s a good chance you’ve passed this old Goodyear building and had no idea what was happening inside.

Because behind those doors is something pretty unexpected.
Augusta Glass Studio isn’t just a shop… it’s a working glassblowing studio where everything is made right there on-site.
And I mean everything.
No molds. No paint. No shortcuts.
Just molten glass, heat, and a whole lot of skill.
The studio is run by Sam Stang, who’s been doing this for over 40 years and has shown his work all over the country. But what’s cool is that it doesn’t feel like some high-end, untouchable gallery.
It feels… real.
Like you walked into someone’s workshop mid-process.

You might see:
🔥 glass pulled straight from a 2,000° furnace
🌀 pieces being shaped and spun at the end of a blowpipe
🎨 bright colors and patterns being fused together while still glowing
Some of the pieces are made in multiple parts and fused together while hot, which takes multiple people working in sync. It’s one of those things that’s hard to fully understand until you see it happen.
And yes… If you time it right, you can watch it happening.
That’s the part that makes this place different.
You’re not just buying something—you’re seeing how it’s made, in real time, by people who’ve spent decades perfecting it.
It’s one of those spots that feels completely out of place in the best way.
An old auto shop turned into a glass studio.
Right in the middle of wine country.
And somehow… most people still don’t know it’s there.
If you’re heading out to Augusta anyway, this is an easy add.
If you’re not…

Quick Question…
Last week you told me to include more nearby cities… how did it feel this week?

Before you go…
If you’ve felt even the smallest nudge to make Easter a little more meaningful this year…
To go to church
To pause for a minute
To reflect on what Jesus Christ has done for you
I’d encourage you to follow that.
We’re usually pretty good about remembering Him at Christmas…
But the reason we celebrate Christmas at all is because of Easter.
Because of what He did for all of us.
Because of Him we will all live again.
There are a lot of great events and fun things happening this weekend (and you’ll find plenty of those above 😄)
But at the center of all of it… is something much deeper.
And sometimes those quiet little nudges are worth listening to.
Whatever this weekend looks like for you, I hope it’s a good one.
See you next week and have a Happy Easter!
